The Ethics Committee is open to all Cross Lake community members. Questions about data, culture, and privacy are discussed openly and regularly.

Oski Tahkoskewin actively trains and hires community members at every stage of our process, increasing digital literacy on-reserve.
Ethics Committee
The Ethics Committee is open to all Cross Lake community members. No application or appointments are required. If you're from the community and have thoughts on the ethical dimensions of this work, your perspective matters.
The committee meets virtually on a regular basis to discuss ethics questions: how recordings are collected, who can access them, how cultural knowledge is protected, and what responsible use looks like.
